Window Mirror Project
A few weeks ago, I was able to obtain this mirror below at Craigslist. It has a small crack in one corner so I found a design that might be able to fix this. This is the mirror I got:
And here is a picture of how I want it to look. Well "kinda", being the "creative" person I am, I will put a whole new twist to it. Watch out for this! (This picture below is NOT my mirror).

The Weekend Project Reveal!
Last week I posted the "before" pictures of my weekend project. Today I am posting the "after" pictures. The "window/mirror" is not yet completely finished because I still have to add some "finishing" touches. So here is the "semi-after" picture of the "window/mirror" and the finished product of the nightstand.

Window/Mirror & Nightstand Project.
Here's a wonderful find at Craig's List last weekend. It was being given for free because it has a crack (see lines on the rightmost top corner). When I got it, I didn't know if I was going to cover it up with nice wallpaper material or a picture of Paris (a place I've been wanting to go back to, but with hubby this time). The small side table was obtained about a year ago, but I just never got around to completing the project. Good thing, because I got some very good ideas from the internet on how to "finish" these projects. Stay tuned!

Small Bedroom Inspirations
I am trying to get some inspiration for one of the bedrooms I am fixing up. My childhood friend is arriving in 2 weeks and I want to make sure that they are comfortable. Here are some inspirational rooms from HGTV that I liked:
Reading Room: It's hard to believe this room used to be a bathroom! It measures six feet by six feet, and just happened to be the perfect size for a twin-sized mattress. We use the space to read, relax and as an extra guest bed when we have out of town visitors.
Union Square Bedroom Refuge: An area rug, reflected in the front of the mirrored night stand, brings the room's palette together and grounds the room. The white painted finish and mirrored panels minimize the piece in the compact space. A slide-out tray adds to the piece's function without taking up valuable floor space.
Fixed panels of dupioni silk from Smith & Noble visually widen the window wall, and add visual height to the room.
