Shabby Chic Dresser, Hutch and Desk

I had this really nice Dresser, Hutch and Desk set which has so much character. This would really look good in a shabby chic bedroom, or even perhaps in a shabby chic kitchen depending on the need of the owner. Unfortunately we need more space! FORTUNATELY I was able to find a new home for it when someone offered to buy it from me! =)

Doesn't this look much better?!

I had an old dresser and mirror that didn't go well with my shabby chic furniture, so I decided to do a weekend project on it. I just painted it white with some country French blue accents.

I need more closet space! What girl doesn't? I was trying to look for closet make-overs through the web, and what caught my attention were the closets of these celebrities/ style icons! The closets are almost as impressive as the clothes they wear!

After purchasing a tiny studio apartment in downtown Long Beach, California, Marnie Dorf committed to creating a well-designed space with practical function. The highlight of her studio is her boutique-themed, walk-in closet. Originally designed to fit a Murphy bed and built-in dresser, she decided that sleeping in the cramped space wasn't her style. The closet is now completely dedicated to voguish storage.

Chic Boutique

Dorf has made the closet feel like an additional room by painting the walls a Tiffany blue and installing a crystal chandelier that can be seen from the living room through a transom glass window. By keeping her belongings neatly tucked away in a modern closet system, she has been able to reduce clutter and streamline her 398-square-foot studio space.
